Bringing Convenient Parcel Collection and Returns to Penny Petroleum Customers

Parcel Pending by Quadient, a leading provider of secure locker solutions, has partnered with Penny Petroleum, a leading petrol forecourt operator in the UK, to bring a new level of convenience to their customers.

The partnership will see Parcel Pending by Quadient’s award-winning Drop Box lockers installed at Penny Petroleum petrol forecourts across the UK, enhancing their service offering to customers by offering secure and convenient locations to pick up and return packages while they refuel.

The lockers are carrier-agnostic, accessible 24/7 and require no additional resources to install or maintain. The Drop Box locker uniquely features a built-in printer functionality so customers returning parcels can print and attach labels at the locker before depositing, making the entire process hassle-free.

As well as providing more sustainable out-of-home parcel collection and return options, lockers enable deliveries to be consolidated, helping to decrease traffic from delivery vans within local communities.

“We are excited to partner with Penny Petroleum to bring the convenience of our Parcel Pending by Quadient locker network to consumers in their petrol forecourts across the UK,” Katia Bourgeais-Crémel, EVP Parcel Locker Solutions Europe at Quadient. “Our mission is to provide convenient and secure package delivery solutions to businesses and their customers, and this partnership is a perfect example of that. We look forward to working with Penny Petroleum to enhance customer experience and provide innovative solutions to meet more of the local community needs.”

This partnership with Penny Petroleum is a significant step forward in the expansion of Parcel Pending by Quadient’s open locker network in the UK.
