StarRez and Quadient Join Forces to Help Higher Education and Residential Communities Better Manage Package Deliveries

The collaboration between the two companies integrates Parcel Pending by Quadient smart lockers with the StarRez student resident and property management platform, which supports and enhances the experience of residential communities. The collaboration kicks-off in the U.S. with a focus on higher education student residences.

Quadient smart lockers have been installed at more than 200 higher education campuses across the U.S., helping colleges and universities streamline the delivery of ever-increasing volumes of packages, saving staff time and resources while improving the student experience. StarRez partners with more than 1,300 institutions and organizations globally to empower thriving communities, create modern resident experiences and automate housing operations, from roommate matching to resident self-service, to front desk operations.

Quadient’s Parcel Pending Campus Hub system goes beyond mail services, offering contact-free exchange points on campus for items such as event materials, bookstore merchandise, class and IT equipment, on-campus dining and moving materials. The system provides a full chain of custody for packages and other goods distributed on campus through the lockers, ensuring accountability and transparency.
