Parcel Pending Sponsors 17th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball

Parcel Pending is a longtime sponsor of Chrysalis, a non-profit organization that aims to help individuals out of poverty and homelessness by providing the tools and resources necessary to gain employment.
As a sponsor, Parcel Pending CEO, Lori A. Torres, had the honor of attending their 17th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball on June 2.
Lori, along with 700 guests, gathered at a private Mandeville Canyon estate in Los Angeles to recognize the remarkable men and women within the film, television and music industries who strive to achieve creative excellence, and to raise funds for Chrysalis.
 “Since 2002, the Chrysalis Butterfly Ball has raised over $15 million to help create a pathway to self-sufficiency for homeless and low-income individuals,” stated Torres. “Parcel Pending is proud to be a longtime sponsor of Chrysalis. We are humbled to know that our support has helped Chrysalis turn around the lives of so many unfortunate people by giving them the tools they need to prepare for, find and retain employment. Chrysalis is doing remarkable work to help fight and end poverty in Los Angeles and we love being able to play a small role in their efforts.”
At the event, guests enjoyed cocktails, dinner, live entertainment and an awards reception. This year’s honorees included: Paramount Pictures chairman and CEO Jim Gianopulos, producer and co-president of Activision Blizzard Studios Stacey Sher, and chef and restaurant owner Curtis Stone.
