How to Register Your Roommates With Parcel Pending

Consider this: from November 2020 to November 2021, 49 million Americans have had at least one package stolen.

If you or your roommates don’t want to become statistics, it’s important that all the occupants in your apartment register with Parcel Pending. If a person is not registered, they run the risk of having their packages left unsecured and possibly stolen or returned to the sender.

Anyone who lives at a community with Parcel Pending lockers and receives packages should register for Parcel Pending. You can have up to 10 people, such as roommates, registered to each account. However, every adult resident can – and probably should – set up their own account.

This is particularly important in communities that charge fees. For example, some communities charge storage fees if a package has been left in the locker for longer than the allowable time set by the property (usually two or three days). If you’re the primary account holder and all your roommates are on your account, your credit card will be charged for the storage fees if any of them forget to pick up their packages in a timely manner.
