    From an outside perspective, college<\/span> kids<\/span> seem more than satisfied with an infinite supply of cold waffles and cereal to fuel them throughout the day. The more, the merrier, right? Wrong. College students are increasingly conscientious of healthy food choices\u2014and the lack thereof at university dining halls.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Whether it\u2019s the \u201cFreshman 15\u201d or the fact that the scrambled eggs look like giant yellow sponges, college students are not happy with their dining hall options. Not to mention, they are <\/span>really paying for it. <\/span><\/i>On average, students are charged about <\/span>$18.75 per day<\/span><\/a> for dining hall access, over an eight month academic year.
