These new features will help to simplify and expedite the package management process for both Property Managers (PMs), couriers and residents alike. Currently being rolled out nationwide, these new features include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Enhanced Resident Search and Package Management:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The new Find Resident tool enables PMs and couriers to search all residents that have a Parcel Pending account on the system. This helps enable couriers to deliver packages to the correct resident. It also enables PMs to manage packages and open locker doors where each package is located.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Seamless Delivery of Multiple Large Packages:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Although our package rooms are not new, the Door Strike functionality has been upgraded. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.parcelpending.com\/en-ca\/locker-solutions\/package-room\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">package room<\/a> enables couriers to deliver multiple, large packages to a single room, while still requiring residents to use a pickup code at the touchscreen. Though the authentication process on the locker touchscreen, users can access a room where their package has been delivered.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Superior User-friendly System:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our system now features a screensaver that contains helpful hints on how to operate the lockers. Additionally, the screensaver can be branded to meet the aesthetic needs of the property.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Administrative Retrieval of Packages:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>PMs have the ability to seamlessly find a resident\u2019s package that may have been misplaced in a locker. The PM can then reset the notification to the resident with the correct location of their package.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Customize Oversize Deliveries Options:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>PMs have the ability to customize the delivery options for oversized packages. If a package does not fit into a locker, a customized message is displayed to the courier on the touchscreen letting them know to send the package to the hub, the office or inside a package room.
